Dr. Nadine was born & raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. Her dad owned a cattle farm when she was born and she enjoyed a childhood filled with animals.
Nadine’s mom taught her about compassion & love for animals at an early age. Her mom has always been an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets like her daughter.
Nadine’s professional career started after obtaining her Bachelor of science in Business Administration as Summa Cum Laude from Western Carolina University, North Carolina, in 2010. During her corporate career, her biggest
accomplishments included a successful strategic management product launching project for a medical company and an international business development plan for a known chocolate company. After graduating, she also became an advocate for children with speech, occupational and physical disabilities.
In 2012, Nadine decided to pursue her childhood dream career as a Veterinarian at Universidad Veritas, Escuela de Medicina y Cirugia Veterinaria San Franciso de Asis in San Jose, Costa Rica where she graduated as class valedictorian in 2016. She also completed a neurology internship for 9 months before moving to the USA.
She obtained her ECFVG Certificate in May 2023. This certification was obtained after major testing in both large & small animals.
Nadine is a member of the American veterinary medical association of feline practitioners and the Georgia veterinary medical association.
Nadine also holds a cat friendly veterinarian certificate.
Nadine & Calvin live in Griffin and share their home with their cat Chloe, their Chihuahua Coco, their two LGDs Snoop & Martha, chicken, cattle, turkeys and goats.
